I’d like to send a HUGE digital hug to Loretta Guth, our guest blogger for this month. And also, she’s my first guest blogger, ever. So I’m pretty stoked. I found Loretta on Instagram recently and fell in love with her beautiful IG feed. It’s full of sparkly bottles of champagne and wine, what’s not to love? She’s got a great product that would make wonderful closing gifts for real estate clients! I’ll let her tell you more in her post below! Take it away, Loretta!
As a realtor you are one of millions doing what you do. Successful realtors know that
establishing a desirable brand is possibly the most important thing they can do to grow their network
and business. Social media has made it easier to establish and share your brand with a large amount of
people, including endless amounts of potential clients. A lot of realtors may overlook smaller branding
opportunities, like open house favors or closing gifts, and how it might really impact their overall brand.
No matter if you’re selling a small starter home or a huge mansion on the coast, your clients are
buying a home and you already know you have to cater to that emotional process. The more you make a
client feel good about their experience and decision, the more likely they will buy, of course, but also
the more likely they will associate that feeling of happiness with YOU!
Here’s the thing- a lot of people don’t have time or perhaps don’t feel creative enough to make
sure their “feel good” brand is being portrayed in all aspects of their sales cycle. That’s where ONEHOPE
comes in.
ONEHOPE started with eight friends who were on a mission, make great wine, and give back.
They started selling cases of wine out of the back of their cars, until famous Napa Valley winemaker
Michael Mondavi introduced himself at a trade show, saw what they were creating, and wanted to help. The rest is history and to date, we have made over 2 million dollars in donations to various charities
across the country. ONEHOPE gives back 50% profit of every bottle to a different charity (depending on
the kind of wine or gift box selected). When you buy ONEHOPE wine, serve it at an open house, or gift it
to a client, they see that your efforts have also donated to a specific cause, stated right on the bottle.
You then become part of a movement to make giving back just part of what you do.
Beyond the awesome ONEHOPE story, there’s our glitter bottles. This takes gifting to a whole
new level! Imagine celebrating with your client with a silver or gold sparkle bottle of champagne. Now
something like that would be Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat worthy! I imagine they would be telling their friends how awesome of an experience they had with you, for sure. Take it even further and create gift boxes with your company logo on the front. This keeps your brand top of mind and shows real
association behind those “feel good” feelings when they whip out that bottle a few days or weeks later!
The best thing for you, as a busy realtor, is that ONEHOPE offers Cause Entrepreneurs like
myself to help make the best selection for your brand. We work with you with each scenario to find the
perfect bottle or gift set to make the best impression on your clients. Building a vendor relationship for
client gifts can truly be a game changer when building or re-vamping your personal brand.
Set yourself a part from the rest. Show who you are and the feelings you want to be associated
with by what you have on that open house table. Keep your clients thinking of you when they read the
label on their sparkly bottle of champagne, informing them that they bottle they are drinking just fed 5
hungry children, or ABA therapy to a child with autism. Make giving back a part of what you do, and
enjoy the extra sparkle in your brand!
