Can we please just stop for a minute. Yes, I said stop. I realize that’s a difficult concept in the age of constantly being on the go, go go. But I need everyone to just pause and appreciate the finer things in life. Like The Four Seasons Hotel in Prague.
From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, The Four Seasons Prague makes you feel like royalty and it’s an experience I believe everyone needs in this busy life. The check-in process is pretty posh. After going through the usual processes, the clerk then escorts you up to the room, all the while giving you little tips and tricks about the hotel and the local area. You’re ushered into your room and after a quick tour, you’re left alone to enjoy the life of luxury.
You like marble EVERYTHING? Then you’ll love the bathroom. The tub alone is enough to make you want to spend the evening in your room. Feeling extra fancy? You can call and have them draw a luxurious, custom bath for you. You choose from a variety of offerings like rose petals, essential oils or, possibly, I mean if you’re into this sort of thing… a champagne bubble bath. HELLO?! Yes. All the bubbles, please.
If the beds could talk, they’d say, “I’m kind of a big deal.” And they wouldn’t be bluffing. The Four Seasons are pretty famous for their fabulous feather bedding. I’ve been chomping at the bit to explore Prague for years, but the moment my body hit that bed, I knew it was going to be tough to get back up. As a matter of fact, I highly recommend you don’t go near the bed until you’re ready to be totally “in” for the night.
The restaurant(s) and room service are top notch. It was at this hotel restaurant in Prague that I discovered my favorite champagne Ruinart Rosé. We also had some of the most divine burrata cheese that the chef had just made. We hit up the coffee bar for an afternoon hot toddy and it did not disappoint. Please DO order room service for breakfast. It’s just the most absolutely perfect way to wake up. Coffee and breakfast in that beautiful bed, while you gaze out the window at the Charles Street Bridge. It’s probably in that moment that you realize the Four Seasons Prague has ruined you for all other hotels.
I haven’t even mentioned the proximity of this hotel to a plethora of Prague landmarks. It’s about a block from the Charles Street bridge. It sits on the Vltava River. It’s a 5 minute walk to the astronomical clock, museums and all the trdelnik you desire. And deserve. You deserve that trdelnik, friend. And the two you ate after that… you deserve those too. Truly, the best placed hotel in all of Prague.
To my readers paying in USD. Listen closely. The exchange rate in the Czech Republic is highly in your favor. Everything is inexpensive, and more affordable. Including luxury brands like The Four Seasons. What could easily be a $600-$1500 per night room in other locations, is $300-500 in Prague. Great opportunity to save a few dollars but still live the high life.
Last but not least, it’s all in the details. When the valet brought us our rental car, they had supplied two bottled waters, two cups of hot coffee, mints and a small package of snacks. Above and beyond, my friends. Above and beyond.
If you’re looking for hotel perfection in Prague, look no further than the Four Seasons Hotel.
