NAR conference rocked my socks, specifically the expo. Here are my top 3 favorite things from the weekend that I think only the coolest REALTORS® will use – that means you, right?
Relola
What are real estate agents if not local experts? You should be constantly promoting your local area and suggesting local events to your followers online. While blogging has always been a means to do this for most of us, the super-cool folks at Relola have just created an app to help us up our game. You use their interface to leave local reviews and establish yourself as an expert. You can also add your map to your social media as well as web sites and everything you share becomes one more fabulous piece of content, which means added value, which means more followers and hopefully more clients. NAR Digital Downloads
I know a lot of you were way too cool for school and weren’t able to make it to NAR. You were selling houses and making the big bucks. As you should-be. Top producers are always learning and if you were too busy to attend NAR, then you can pay a small fee and listen to the audio or watch the video from a vast majority of the courses. There’s a monthly subscription for $19 and then packages ranging from $200-400 for you to choose from. We only attended the expo at NAR for two days (it literally took two days to get through the booths!) and opted into the audio afterwards. I love this option because who has time to sit around in class for days? You can listen to these in the car, while getting ready for work in the morning, etc. #alwaysbelearning Check it out here.
Listing Beam
There were a few years there where it felt like REALTORS® were super cutting-edge. They had the first smart phones – palm pilots, and were just total bad A’s in the tech dept. But then it seemed like technology just blew past the real estate world and left everyone behind. And in some ways, that’s still the case – but it doesn’t have to be. Enter, Listing Beam. You can finally throw away your flyer boxes and enter the 21st Century! Place the beacon in your listing and a digital property flyer just pops up on the phones of people nearby. Similar to technology some shopping malls and stores are using to notify consumers of special deal when they drive by. Your flyer and property info just magically appear!
