Happy post-holiday work day. If you’re on Eastern time then congrats, you made it through. And if not, well, it’s 5 O’Clock somewhere… right? Is there seriously anything more difficult than going back to the grind after an incredibly beautiful 3 day weekend? You’d think I’d be refreshed and ready for action but instead I am just… so. seriously. dragging. Which leads me to the first product that I used this weekend and am currently loving. And also sipping, as I type.
Y’all need this stuff in your life. I mean, like, right now. It’s a tasty little tube full of magical dust. If you’re one of those unfortunate people who happen to NOT believe in magic, then YOU, my friend, are about to have your beliefs challenged. Because this stuff is magic with a capital M. Say it with me… M. A. G. I. C. There, now you know how to spell ZipFizz.
Okay, but seriously. ZipFizz is a “healthy energy drink mix”, according to their website. Its a powdered mix that comes in a little tube. You pour it into 16-20 ounces of water and then watch it transform into a magical substance that turns you into an energized unicorn. It’s made of lots of vitamins and minerals, like B12, is full of antioxidants and it comes in a variety of flavors – grapefruit, fruit punch, orange, grape, black cherry and lime, just to name the few I’ve tried. If you live near a Costco, you can run over and grab a 30 pack for $27.00 right now. Or, you can order them on Amazon by clicking the picture above.
Intex River Run I Sport Lounge, Inflatable Water Float, 53″ Diameter
To say I spent the majority of my weekend in this dude is not an exaggeration. And to say I’ve tested out many, many floating devices is also not an exaggeration. I’d basically consider myself an expert. There was a time when I’d tell you that floating was SO not my jam. The cheap floats we kept buying weren’t overly comfortable and it was inevitable that they’d rip – so we always had to have a backup ready at the lake cottage. I found myself becoming less and less excited about entire weekends spent on the water because I was too hot to be in the boat and my floats stunk. Until I discovered the Intex River Run Float.
It’s great quality and lasted the entire summer of 2017. The float has a mesh/netting that allows water to flow through the middle hole and there’s the perfect headrest/back support. The cupholders included are a little small, but a standard sized soda can will fit. I like to let the air out a tad so I’m not sitting out of the water quite as far and it’s really, really comfortable. It’s like, fall asleep and sunburn the crap out of your skin, comfortable. Just what you’re all looking for – you’re welcome.
I actually have the camouflage float pictured above but we just purchased the other version to have on hand as a back-up. Not that this thing needs a back-up. I just love it so much, I had to have two. Click any photo above to grab one for yourself! Want to float with a friend? Click HERE to get a two-seater.
